It has been another difficult year for all of us and for our furry friends as well... We are hoping that we will have a better year with more rescues and more adoptions...
Since the beginning of Covid in 2020 we have seen a drop in adoption however the worst was in 2021, the adoption were down by 50% as a result of this we had to cut also our rescue operations by 30%. This really breaks our heart because our sole existence is to rescue the abandoned dogs and cats and there are so many in Turkey. But we have limited resources and limited place to keep the animals...
Yet together we managed to place more than 60 dogs and cats in their new homes in Europe. We thank everybody who supported us by sharing our ads, by networking for us, by sending donations, by being flight volunteer. And above all we thanks all the adoptive families for choosing to ADOPT instead of BUYING from a breeder and for trusting us... We know it is not an easy decision to adopt from a country that you usually are not familiar with... We try our best to make your journey of adoption from the beginning to the end as easy as possible, we also urge families who adopted from us to write us their experience so we can share them here for others to see.
Last but not least we also thank all our partners - veterinary clinics, accommodation homes, pet transfers, care takers, local rescue workers and local associations who work day and night to save lives and to help us save lives! We are so proud to be your partner!
