WHAT WE ACHIEVED TOGETHER IN 2025

Now that we are leaving another difficult and challenging year behind us, we would like to give you an overview of 2025 and show you what we did achieve all together and how many lives were transformed because we care...

This year despite all the financial difficulties we managed to increase our rescue number! 106 dogs and 24 cats were rescued, last year it was 83 dogs and 13 cats.

In terms of adoption, we were more or less the same as last year, we managed to send 102 dogs and 18 cats to EU and UK, most are gone to their homes some went to the foster home first then got adopted. We still have 2 cats Cloud and Ela in Berlin in their foster homes waiting for their forever family. And we have 8 dogs who are scheduled to fly in January, all adopted except one who is going to his foster home.

Along the way, unfortunately we lost some of the precious souls due to illnesses:(

Eddy, Alice, May and the cats Muffin and Elsa we won't forget you! You will be in our memories forever...

Every month in our social media accounts we share a happy Grid with photos of our adopted furry kids at home with their families all smiling and happy. That is the main motivation which keep our team going especially in these challenging days. Every day is another uphill battle due to new massacre law, due to insensitive people, due to irresponsible owners who keep abandoning without hesitation. We try to keep our sanity and with your help continue saving and transforming lives...

We also had new members, new donors, new volunteers, flight volunteers and new fosters this year. We are so grateful to all of you, without your support it is impossible to achieve all of these! We made new partnerships as well which proved to be very successful, Global Giving Platform accepted us and we participated in their matching campaigns two times, we were so happy with the participation and the contributions we got to pay our overdue clinic bills. There is another one coming up in March:)

We also got an offer from Kane Communication /USA, they developed a pro bono campaign for us in social media and helped us with Global Giving campaign, we don't know how to thank them...

In general 2025 was a year with ups and downs, full of hard work, dedication, heartaches, frustration, joy and happy tears. We are closing the year with an incredible news that our beloved FINDIK who has been waiting for 4 years for a home just ADOPTED!!

On a personal note, 2025 was also a milestone year for me, in June I became a grandmother for the first time, little Noam Akin joined our family:) And sadly the same month we had to say goodbye to our Frosty who was almost 17 and battling with heart disease for the last 3 years, we miss him dearly but he is in peace now...

As the PIT Team we would like to wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year with full of joy and lots of health. We thank each and every one of you for your trust, dedication and support. We are the PIT FAMILY and together we will continue to save lives...
